Quality care, commitment and cuddles for your dog(s) and/or small pets – Individual one to one attention to meets all your pets needs.
Find Out MoreProfessional, friendly and reliable you can rest assured that any animal you entrust to us will receive the very best of care and will benefit from our many years experience with smaller pets but especially with dogs which have been a lifelong passion.
Some years ago when working long hours we were lucky and found a kind and very reliable dog sitter and walker who enabled us to continue to have dogs in our lives whilst ensuring they were happy and contented when we couldn’t be around as much as they and we would have liked. I couldn’t have managed without her and our lives would not have been as rich if we had missed out on any of the dogs who stole our hearts and filled our lives with smiles. Now we try to help other dog lovers keep their furry family intact by providing that same support when circumstances may make the time commitment needed difficult.
Unlike many dog care providers which only walk dogs in groups we are able to offer the sort of service that can be tailor made to suit your particular dogs needs. This means that aswell as those “easy” dogs with no issues whose owners just want them to have individual care and attention we can accommodate too those with their own little quirks whether its nervousness and sensitivity or maybe over the top behaviour for example. Growing up with dogs followed by many years helping and resettling rescue dogs, training and completing a canine psychology course has all contributed to our being able to use those 30+ years of experience to offer quality care with confidence. It isn’t easy to entrust your much loved pets to someone else but hope our experience and flexibility may give you the reassurance that will help.
As a result of repeated requests we added Puppy Socialisation sessions to the services we provide – these can vary in length and will be specifically tailored to concentrate on the areas most important to you, your lifestyle and of course the personality of your pup. These sessions are best started as soon as you get your puppy. Even though he/she will have to initially be carried when outdoors before vaccinations are complete 8 to 12 weeks old is a very important window of opportunity to expose pups to as many different experiences as possible whilst taking care not to overwhelm them.
Of course these sort of sessions can be equally beneficial not just to puppies but to other dog who have not been lucky enough to have had the time they need invested in them as they were growing up like maybe some rescue dogs for example
To ensure their continued development into well adjusted dogs these sessions can be extremely beneficial throughout their first year of life as they are introduced to as many varied experiences and situations as possible. I even have one of my own dogs who is very good both with puppies and uncertain, shy dogs should you want your dog to learn appropriate dog to dog greeting etc She is very popular constantly getting “play date” requests from owners with younger dogs. She probably teaches them more than we do!
